UK: Cardiff’s X Music Festival has announced that Flume, one of the world’s most influential electronic music stars, will be appearing in the Welsh capital on June 4 in what will be one of only a handful of UK festival appearances he will make this summer.
Having made his mark on the scene 2012 with his self-titled album, Flume then proceeded to sell out shows in Sydney, New York, Berlin, and Paris. His cult following in the UK lead to his recent London Roundhouse show selling out in just three minutes.
His latest release ‘Never Be Like You ft. Kai’, from his forthcoming second album Skin, premiered as ‘Hottest Record In The World’ by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, and has received the nod of approval from the likes of Pitchfork, SPIN, Mixmag and immediately hit #1 on Hype Machine’s Most Popular Chart.
He joins a massive line-up which features acts such as Annie Mac, Craig David, Stormzy, Andy C, MK, Hannah Wants, and more.
