LeeFest to return in 2016

UK: LeeFest has announced that it will make a return to the UK festival scene in 2016. After taking a fallow year, organisers behind the award-winning music and arts event have broken their silence to confirm plans for next summer.

The grassroots story, which began as a party in the packed back garden of Lee Denny, has until recently been held at Highams Hill Farm. This year the festival will celebrate its 10th year by moving to a new and larger site in Kent, details of which are currently being kept top secret.

LeeFest is well known for spotting musical talent early, having hosted the likes of London Grammar, Bastille and Public Service Broadcasting and Mercury Prize Winners Young Fathers in their early years.

Denny said: “We’ve been crafting LeeFest for 10 years now, and we’re about to embark on our next adventure! We’re moving to a new venue, taking the best bits from our past and throwing in some new ideas to create something really special. A new era begins! It will be LeeFest as you know it with some big secrets that we’re holding onto for now.”
