HUNGARY: Sziget festival – winner of Best Major Festival at the 2014 European Festival Awards – has revealed that Kings of Leon will headline this year’s event. Their performance on August 15 is one of the few chances to see them live in Europe during the summer and it will be the band’s first appearance in Hungary. Sziget Festival is held in Budapest between 10 – 17 August.
Kings of Leon join a host of artists already confirmed, including: Robbie Williams, Florence & The Machine, Martin Garrix, Alt-J, Foals, Marina and the Diamonds, Interpol, Gogol Bordelllo, Alesso, Knife Party, Paloma Faith, Gentlemen & The Evolution, SBTRKT, Nervo, W&W, Blasterjaxx, The Ting Tings, Passenger, Dropkick Murphys, Jamie Woon, The Maccabees, Awolnation, Ella Eyre, Milky Chance, Jungle, Selah Sue, Foxes, Tyler The Creator, Beatsteaks, Fauve, MØ and many more.
