Boomtown 2025 adds more names and reveals BBC Radio 1 Dance Partnership

With the final tickets for this summer’s instalment now on sale, Boomtown are showing no signs of slowing down, announcing a huge wave of names across multiple districts. Releasing the full lineup across Grand Central, The Lions Gate and Copperwood, Boomtown imitable additions showcase the vibrant tapestry of sound on offer in this alternative world.

Where music greats and future stars come to life, Grand Central welcomes hip-hop legends Souls of Mischief, UK godfather of jungle and drum & bass Goldie (live) and multi-award winning rapper-turned-icon Miss Dynamite to the towering orange stage. They will join 4am Kru, Azealia Banks, Boney M, Fat Dog, Gardna (live), Goldie (live), Hot 8 Brass Band, Hybrid Minds, Joey Valance & Brae, Kenya Grace, Koffee, Kojey Radical, Kurupt FM, Maribou State, Nova Twins, Pa Salieu, Sean Paul, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter and The Wailers who will appear on Grand Central across the weekend.

Announced last year, Boomtown has unveiled the electrifying lineup for the new The Lion’s Gate stage —a reimagining of the iconic Lions Den, now set in the former location of Origin. The Lion’s Gate will see an exciting new partnership with BBC Radio 1 Dance, hosting a Friday takeover on the stage at Boomtown.

Returning this year is legendary dubstep pioneer Skream, who has since evolved his sound across house, techno, and disco. His versatility and influence have cemented him as a key figure in UK electronic music. He’ll be going B2B with Partiboi69, a standout in Australia’s underground scene. Elsewhere on the lineup, drum and bass heavyweight Dimension joins the bill, while Boomtown favourite Calibre returns, this time going B2B with Lenzman, featuring Fox. Also added to the lineup are Oppidan, A Little Sound, A.M.C presents Digging Deep ft. Phantom, 1985 Music: Skeptical B2B Monty & Visages B2B Cesco ft. SP:MC, K Motionz ft. IC3, Born On Road ft. Carasel, BassLayerz, Mozey ft. 2Shy MC and more. Joining the already announced Joy Orbison, Overmono, Nia Archives, Jyoty, Girls Don’t Sync and Rudimental – all set to bring the heat to The The Lion’s Gate this year.

Boomtown’s Copperwood District is ablaze with excitement as a fresh wave of artists descends upon the roaring twenties dreamscape! As Copperwood’s star continues to rise, the district is set to host the biggest parties at Engine House and Fogger’s Mill, today announcing artists like emo-rock legends Alien Ant Farm, the genre-blending magic of Afriquoi, the brass-fueled grooves of TechnoBrass, and the poetic musings of Beans on Toast. Audiences can expect spine-tingling performances from Slamboree, the electrifying beats of Symphonica Orchestra: History of Drum & Bass, and the theatrical madness of Oh My God! It’s The Church and more. These new names will join previously announced Craig Charles Funk & Soul House Party, The Mary Wallopers, Ferocious Dog, The Wurzels , Brass Against and Babylon Circus: The Last Dance.

With hundreds of artists still to be announced, Boomtown’s musical programme is shaping up to be a vibrant tapestry of sound, featuring everything from hip-hop and post-punk to reggae, world music, folk, and beyond. With genres spanning drum and bass, techno, house, rock, jungle, disco, and psytrance, the lineup promises a sonic journey like no other.

With a strong emphasis on environmental activism, the festival is a dynamic platform for action through a rich fusion of music, culture, and advocacy. Continuing Boomtown’s tradition of extraordinary entertainment, featuring immersive narratives, modern circus performances, art, and dance, rounded-off with jaw-dropping production, are three guiding pillars: Creativity, Connection, and Celebration, with the core values of Respect yourself, Respect each other, and Respect the planet inspiring every interaction.
