Wellness in the Wild Returns for 3rd Iteration

Wellness in the Wild festival is back for its third year, promising an even more enriching and transformative experience. From 18th to 20th July 2025, this unique and intimate festival nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside invites attendees to celebrate health, wellness, community, and music. Less than two hours from central London by train, the festival welcomes people of all ages to join a thriving community of like-minded individuals ready to relax, recharge, and explore a weekend of creativity and connection.

Wellness in the Wild was founded in late 2022 by friends Andrew Swiney and Ed Deakin, who combined their shared love for wellbeing, the outdoors, and festivals. The inaugural event took place in the summer of 2023. Swiney, a certified mindfulness teacher, joined forces with Deakin, who runs the Great Event Company, known for producing marquee and tent-based events across East Anglia. Originally launched as a one-day pilot with 150 attendees, the festival expanded in 2024, drawing over 350 participants. Now set to attract an even larger audience, whilst still maintaining its relatively small numbers and intimacy, the festival continues to deliver a uniquely immersive wellness experience.

“You can find us nestled amidst serene meadows, apple orchards, and enchanting woodlands, Wellness in the Wild uniquely blends the tranquility of a rural retreat with the vibrant energy of a festival. Whether you’re seeking calm, inspiration, or connection, this family friendly event offers something for everyone.” Explains co-founder, Swiney.

With day and weekend camping and non-camping tickets available, the co-founders have carefully developed an experience that is accessible to everyone by providing a wide range of activities.

● The Movement Tent provides expert guided classes for vinyasa flow, pilates, barre, and mindful dance to energise the body and mind. The Fitness Tent provides heart pumping activities with Boxfit, HIIT classes, and scenic trail runs.
● For those who wish to exercise or rest their minds, there are the Meditation and Talk Tents. The Meditation Tent helps festival-goers find peace through sound baths, breathwork, and yoga nidra sessions. The Talk Tent aims to inspire festival-goers with wellness speakers who share powerful stories and actionable insights.
● For attendees who wish to treat themselves, there are multiple options. The Woodland Spa offers luxury and indulgence in wood-fired hot tubs, a sauna, and a spa bar under the trees. In the Therapy Field, you can find rejuvenating massages, reiki, reflexology, and holistic treatments.
● A ‘Make Tent’ is set up throughout the weekend to encourage attendees to unleash their creativity. Pottery, terrarium-making, and jewelry workshops are some of the classes on offer.

Live Music runs throughout the weekend. From acoustic performances throughout the day to live DJ sets for dancing under the stars, a line up announcement will be coming in the months ahead

At Wellness in the Wild, food is as much a part of the experience as the activities and music, with a thoughtfully curated selection of culinary delights to suit all tastes and dietary needs.

The festival is family friendly providing the Kids Field. Wellness-focused activities, circus skills, dance, singing workshops, nature walks, mandala making, forest school sessions and kids yoga are just some of the activities available for everyone to enjoy. Attendees can either bring their own tent and camp or book a luxury bell tent, providing comfortable accommodation for those seeking a full weekend experience.

With sustainability at its core, the festival encourages car-sharing and offers eco-friendly amenities. With the festival site located close to the train station, the organisers also encourage individuals to use public transport.

“We aim to bring in traders who provide sustainable products and bring in as many local food and non-food traders as possible.” Explains Swiney. “It’s not just a festival – it’s a sanctuary,” says co-founder Deakin, whose family land provides the breathtaking backdrop for the event.
