Vodafone has today announced its return to live music with a multi-year partnership with the iconic British festival, BST Hyde Park, as Official Connectivity Partner.
The deal, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, will see Vodafone use its extensive connectivity and technology capabilities to deliver an incredible AR experience for music fans to celebrate. Vodafone will keep festival-goers connected through the power of its 5G network and innovative onsite activations.
The festival returns to the capital after a two-year absence, taking place over three weekends in June and July. The festival will feature legendary headliners including Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam and Duran Duran alongside support from today’s rising stars.
Vodafone is offering customers the opportunity to win tickets to BST Hyde Park through its VeryMe Rewards programme. Tickets will be up for grabs throughout May and June and Vodafone customers will be able to enter regular Prize Draws and Instant Wins by using the My Vodafone app and tapping on ‘VeryMe’.
Max Taylor, Vodafone Consumer Director, said: “2022 will see us unveil a range of exciting partnerships and we are delighted to kick off our return to music as Official Connectivity Partner of BST Hyde Park. As well as using our connectivity to enhance the festival experience this summer, customers will be able to unlock access to some of the biggest events of the year through our VeryMe Rewards programme.”
