Insomniac events, owner of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Time Warp and more, are teaming up with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) to bring a new conference to Las Vegas in May 2027.
Announced during a panel with Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella at ADE on Thursday (22 October), the new electronic music conference will be known as the Map Point Summit and will take place at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
While few specific details were shared during the announcement, the new conference is being described through its website as a “global gathering for the people who move electronic dance music culture forward.” Map Point Summit also said it would be welcoming “global industry delegates, the next generation of talent, a playable music-tech expo [and] hosted spaces built for connecting.”
At the ADE panel, Pasquale added that one of the reasons behind creating Map Point Summit was around “giving independent promoters and artists who are out there help to keep the culture alive,” and that the conference will sit between EDC Dusk (14-16 May) and EDC Dawn (21-23 May) in 2027.
