Adriatic Sound Festival unveils its full lineup

The Adriatic Sound Festival, Europe’s newest electronic music festival, has unveiled its full lineup for its inaugural debut. For two electrifying days between June 13 and 14, Italy’s ancient town of Fano will transform into a vibrant festival playground merging Roman heritage with the best electronic music. Setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration of innovation and sound, the festival will welcome twenty-eight of the biggest names in electronic music, including Rufus Du Sol (DJ Set), Stella Bossi, Richie Hawtin, Nicole Moudaber, Sven Väth, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Solardo, Stephan Bodzin Live, Kasia and many more.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Italy’s Adriatic coastline, the Adriatic Sound Festival will welcome over 25,000 visitors across two dynamic stages. The festival will unite to celebrate music, space, and boundless creative energy.

The festival promises an electrifying debut featuring the world’s biggest and most exciting electronic acts, including headliners Rufus Du Sol, who will deliver an atmospheric DJ set. Techno pioneer Sven Väth will deliver a vinyl-driven, boundary-pushing set that will reaffirm his status as the Emperor of Techno.

The “Queen of Techno”, Sama’ Abdulhadi, is not one to miss, as the pioneering DJ will deliver a punchy techno set and a high-octane performance. Known for pushing the boundaries of electronic music, DJ legend Richie Hawtin leads this year’s line-up. With a career spanning over three decades, the British Canadian icon is set to deliver a performance that will be remembered for many years.

Adding to the dynamic roster, techno maestro Stephan Bodzin Live will captivate audiences with a hypnotic live set that fuses his classical training with pulsating electronic textures. Grammy-nominated house icon Armand Van Helden, renowned for classics like You Don’t Know Me and My, My, My, will also share the stage.

A true icon in the dance scene, Nicole Moudaber will command the stage with her hypnotic grooves, while Scottish DJ Sim0ne and BBC Radio 1’s Future Star of 2024 will serve up her signature hardcore beats. Renowned for throwing a party, Manchester duo Mark Richards and James Eliot, collectively known asSolardo, will deliver an energetic set, as Madrid-based DJ and producer duo Sparrow & Barbossa will keep the celebrations going.

Following the release of her critically acclaimed track Punk, London-based DJ Kasia will also take to the Adriatic Sound Festival stage, promising another standout moment. Underground stalwart Nic Fanciulli, a key figure in shaping Ibiza’s dance scene, is expected to deliver a masterclass in dancefloor energy. He will be joined by Chicago legend Green Velvet, whose iconic tracks like La La Land have shaped decades of dance music.

Playing a key role in bringing electro and techno to a wider audience in the early 2000s, superstar Tiga will combine elements of electro, techno, house, and pop for his electrifying set. Elsewhere, Yulia Niko will play tracks from her debut album, TWINSOUL, alongside Swiss DJ Jimi Jules, who will captivate crowds with his mesmerising sound.

Currently on tour, Saraga is set to bring the heat to Fano with an unforgettable stop to keep the party going. Drawing influences from musical titans such as Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones, Olive F will take the stage while Apache keeps the energy pulsing. From classical music halls to the world of electronic music, Di Sun is another standout artist on this year’s lineup, who’ll bring her signature fresh synths and infectious beats to the Adriatic coastline. Born out of an appreciation for many different genres, Ageless is back on the road with newmusic. Audiences can expect his modern synthesisers, basses and rhythms on the Adriatic Sound Festival dancefloor.

With a remarkable career that began at just 15, Italy’s own Joe Vanditti is set to captivate audiences with his exceptional house music sets, undoubtedly leaving a lasting impression on the festival. Elsewhere on the lineup, DJ Lonely stands out as one of this year’s most intriguing and exciting artists to watch.

Rising star Avision will unleash his raw, high-energy techno sound, while the powerhouse trio Mason Collective returns from commanding some of the world’s biggest stages to provide an explosive performance. Franky Wah, representing contemporary club culture with his emotionally charged, hook-driven sound, joins the lineup alongside Brina Knauss, who bringsrefined melodies and transcendent atmospherics to her sets. Rounding out the line-up is Stella Bossi, whose high-octane approach to techno, forged in Berlin’s vibrant club scene, promises to deliver one of the festival’s defining moments.

Designed as a temporary city by STUFISH Entertainment Architects, the world-renowned stage designers behind Beyonce, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Sabrina Carpenter and Adele, the festival draws inspiration from classical Roman architecture, creating a breathtaking fusion of historical grandeur and innovation. At the festival’s heart stands the Infinity Stage, an architectural masterpiece that blends ancient Roman influences, such as arenas and coliseums, reinterpreted through a modern, avant-garde lens. At Fano Airport, the festival’s second stage, The Hangar, offers a dramatically different yet equally immersive experience. Set against an industrial background, the stage features three airplane hangars brought to life with cutting-edge 3D mapping projections.

As the festival prepares to kick off, the ancient town of Fano will transform into a week-long celebration of parties, offering attendees a once-in-a-lifetime experience that merges Italy’s rich heritage with cutting-edge electronic music. Iconic venues like the historic Rocca Malatestiana fortress in Fano and the Chiesa di San Francesco (Church of Saint Francis) will host unforgettable parties. At the same time, sun-soaked beach events will keep the energy high all week long.
