Hardwick Festival Announce Line-up

Following a triumphant 10th anniversary, Hardwick Festival is back this summer with an electrifying lineup, headlined by Scissor Sisters, Pet Shop Boys, and Olly Murs. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hardwick Hall in County Durham, the festival will take place from 15th to 17th August 2025, promising an unforgettable three-day celebration of music, culture, and entertainment.

The 2025 Hardwick Festival lineup is set to boast an impressive array of chart-topping artists, indie legends, and rising stars.

Friday, 15th August kicks off in spectacular fashion with Scissor Sisters making a long-awaited return to the stage. The New York band, known for smash hits like I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ and Take Your Mama will get the party started in style.

Saturday, 16th August is all about the North East homecoming of Pet Shop Boys, one of the most successful duos in UK music history. Their iconic synth-pop anthems such as West End Girls, It’s a Sin, and Go West will light up the night.

This year’s festival marks a special homecoming for Neil Tennant, lead singer of the Pet Shop Boys, who is of course a North East native. Their headline performance on Saturday night is set to be an exciting pop moment for fans, as they bring their legendary catalogue of hits back to the region where it all began.

Sunday, 17th August sees Olly Murs take the Main Stage as the headline act, promising a hit-filled set featuring fan favourites like Troublemaker, Dance With Me Tonight, and Dear Darlin’.

Other festival highlights over the course of the weekend include Sam Ryder, Royston Club, Rianne Downey, and Charlie Floyd on the Main Stage. Over at Treehouse Arena, fans can groove to timeless acid jazz, The Brand New Heavies.

Other Main Stage acts include The Lathums, Everything Everything,The Clause, and North Riding. The energy continues on Stage Two with K-Klass, Everly Pregnant Brothers, Rio Sterling, Kerr Mercer, The Rosadocs, Twayne, and Ste Johnson.

Reggae legends The Wailers will also bring their unmistakable sound, whilst Scouting for Girls, Geordie boy Andrew Cushin, the ‘Elvis’ fronted Elvana, The Lilacs, and Sonny Tennet also head to Hardwick. Treehouse Arena will additionally feature Jamie Lawson, D-Ream, Ryder, We Tibetans, Red Room, Park View, and Diago.

Beyond the incredible live music, Hardwick Festival offers a full festival experience. Unlike previous years, the event will start earlier on the Friday, giving festivalgoers a full three days of live music and entertainment. Attendees can explore a range of gourmet food stalls, sip on craft cocktails and refreshing drinks, and there’ll also be a full programme of family-friendly activities.

For those who want to make the most of their festival stay, camping and glamping options are available, ensuring a comfortable and immersive experience. This year boasts a new dedicated family camping area, ‘Mini Meadows.’
