Rock Oyster Reveals 2025 Food and Music First Wave

Rock Oyster festival has revealed three headliners, a wealth of musical talent and a star-studded chef line-up in its first wave announcement for 2025. The annual voyage of culinary discovery and musical mischief is already hotting up, and is set to take place from 24-27 July 2025 in the grounds of the stunning Dinham House right on the banks of the Camel Estuary in Cornwall. Renowned for his electrifying DJ sets, Gok Wan also joins the bill alongside the legendary Craig Charles, bringing his iconic Funk & Soul vibes. Fans of classic Britpop are in for a treat with Be Here Now, the ultimate Oasis tribute band, while rising star Emily Magpie will captivate with her ethereal indie-folk soundscapes. Prepare for high-energy grooves from Malavita and funky brass-driven beats from Brass Junkies, with Peri Rae’s soulful melodies adding a touch of heartfelt charm. Electric Spank’s infectious blend of funk and jazz, the edgy rock sounds of Shagrat, and the ska-punk energy of Go Go Skank round out the first wave.

From leading chefs and local producers, Rock Oyster also announces a stellar chef line up, promising a culinary experience like no other. Heading for Rock Oyster is long-time recipe developer for Ottolenghi and co-wrote 2022’s Ottolenghi Test Kitchen: Shelf Love- Noor Murad, celebrated for her innovative take on Middle Eastern cuisine, alongside master baker (and Rock Oyster’s Chief Culinary Officer) Richard Bertinet and British seafood legend Mark Hix. Michelin-starred chef Tom Brown will bring his bold and fresh flavours to Cornish shores, while Karan Gokani is set to delight with his vibrant South Indian creations. Jack Stein, known for his modern twists on classic dishes will be in attendance, alongside social media sensation Seema Pankhania and Vietnamese street food queen Thuy Diem Pham. Ben Quinn, known for his fire cooking expertise, Andrew Tuck’s farm-to-fork philosophy, and Rose Cant’s seasonal, sustainable cuisine join the spectacular line up, too. With more culinary stars yet to be revealed, Rock Oyster festival is shaping up to be a true feast for foodies.
