Secretsundaze presents: Multi Multi 2024 Festival was already set to be the biggest edition ever but it just got a whole lot larger again with a new 1500-capacity open-air venue added to its list of host spaces. The Garden at Hackney Bridge in Hackney Wick has never been used for a party before so is a great addition to the wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces, innovative stage hosts and more than 80 acts who will play all across the East London site on Saturday 13th July.
The Garden at Hackney Bridge is a vast canal-side green space, well known to street food and beer lovers who soak up its modernist industrial charms while relaxing by the idyllic waters. For the first time ever during Multi Multi, it will be transformed into an immersive rave space with the all-important sound managed by Elar Sound who will install a world-class d&b audiotechnik line array system for pure sonic pleasure
Multi Multi is all about Secretsundaze doing what they have always done best; forming communities and finding unusual spaces not normally used for parties and transforming them into irresistible dancing havens. It harks back to the core of the brand’s ethos which started with outdoor Sunday parties and grew to become one of the UK’s most cultured gatherings on Shoreditch rooftops, tucked away pub courtyards and atmospheric warehouses.
After two previous sold-out editions, Multi Multi returns this year with a bumper offering across 14 indoor and outdoor dancefloors, all covered with just one ticket which grants entry to everywhere. Long-time underground mainstay James Priestley, aka Secretsundaze, is curator in chief for this event and has lined up the freshest house, techno and disco with key acts and brands enlisted such as Butter Side Up, Demi Riquisimo’s Semi Delicious imprint, edit upstarts Make A Dance, famed re-issue labels Heels & Souls and Melodies International.
Tash LC’s Club Yeke also lines up and there is a welcome return of Lemon Lounge Soundsystem, Haseeb Iqbal’s Studio Crumb and Ernesto Chahoud’s Beirut Groove Collective who will explore dub, dancehall and plenty in between, plus Multi Multi debutants like Mixnights, Soursopp, Sisu, Whomp, Social Records Society, Midnight Runner and Balearic London also feature.
Once again the focus is on local heroes such as Mafalda, James Massiah and Charlie Dark while international talents such as IN2STELLAR, Anthea, E-Talking, Liquid Earth, Lovefingers, Abdul Raeva, and Xica Soul all bring their own distinctive flavours.
