Beach! Please Festival Expects 200,000 for 2024

Romania’s Beach, Please! debuted in 2022 on the beach of Costinești, initiated by Andrei Șelaru(Selly) and Lucian Ștefan (Global), with around 30,000 participants. The festival’s audience almost tripled for 2023 with around 80,000 people attending what became eastern Europe’s largest urban seaside festival. Over 200,000 attendees are expected on July 10th – 14th for the 2024 edition. This year’s investment amounts to 12 million euros, with approximately 7 million allocated for artists.

Global stars like Travis Scott, Anitta, Yeat, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Spice, Don Toliver, Chief Keef, and over 200 other artists will take the stage across five platforms for 100,000 people at the most sought-after resort on the Romanian Black Sea coast. Tickets have sold out but a limited quantity will be back on sale, at what organisers say is the lowest price in Europe.

The General Access 5-Day Pass starts from 179 EUR, while one-day passes start from 60 EUR. For those seeking a premium experience, VIP and Ultra VIP passes start at 329 EUR. These passes offer priority fast lane access, elevated platform views, table reservations, dedicated bar service, and private restrooms.

Costinesti is easily accessible from major airports, being just a 45-minute drive from Constanta’s Mihail Kogalniceanu Airport or a three-hour drive from Bucharest’s Henri Coanda Airport.

The festival site spans over 50 acres near the highway connecting Bucharest to Costinesti. After exiting the highway, it’s just a 30-minute drive to the event. The Romanian transport ministry has increased the number of trains to accommodate festival-goers, including many night services.

While accommodation in Costinesti might be limited, nearby towns such as Mamaia, Constanta, Eforie, Tuzla, and Olimp offer great options. These towns are connected to the festival by a fleet of over 100 buses running non-stop, so festivalgoers never be stranded without a ride.

Camping options are available, from own tent to pre-pitched, all with showers, toilets, security, 24/7 video surveillance, and lockers.
