From a series of 5 separate dates offering 5 styles of electronic music in 2006, Les Plages Electroniques has evolved into a 3 day event hailed as one of Europe’s premiere beach festivals, aided by being located in Cannes.
This year, 60,000 attendees will witness sets from the likes of David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Paul Kalkbrenner, Charlotte de Witte and Damso, helping to make up what organisers claim is their most ambitious line-up to date, coupled with a new visual identity.
As well as beach stages, the festival includes a “Solarium” rooftop, a stage on the terrace of the Palais des Festivals and the famous stage on the water. Daily boat parties and afterparties mean the programme runs from 2pm to 5am.
